In 2013 my husband (then boyfriend), was diagnosed with celiac disease. At the time I had also been dealing with a lot of digestive issues of my own that had been ongoing for years. Once he was diagnosed our kitchen became entirely gluten-free and my diet changed along with his. After a few months I found I felt better than I had in years and haven’t looked back since.
Cooking is a ton of fun, but it’s not the only thing I do. I am also passionate about living an active lifestyle. So, If I’m not working or whipping up new recipes in the kitchen you can probably find me out running, lifting and maybe doing some yoga to stay active. I also love hiking and backpacking so if I am not at home, chances are I am out adventuring somewhere with my husband and our Australian Shepherd, Indy.
